Ernst August Friedrich Ruska byl německý fyzik.

V roce 1986 spoluobdržel Nobelovu cenu za fyziku za zásadní práci v elektronové optice a za návrh prvního elektronového mikroskopu. V témže roce ji dostali Gerd Binnig a Heinrich Rohrer za objev STM.
