Fateh Alí Tipú citáty

Fateh Alí Tipú označovaný jako Tipu Sultan, Tipu Sahib, sultán Tipú nebo Tygr z Maisúru byl vládce Maisúrského království od 29. prosince 1782 do své smrti. Narodil se jako nejstarší syn sultána Hajdara Alího, po jehož smrti převzal vládu. Zavedl řadu inovací, mimo jiné byl průkopníkem válečné raketové techniky. Vedl expanzionistickou a nábožensky netolerantní politiku a bojoval i proti Angličanům. Ti ho zabili v bitvě během čtvrté anglo-maisúrské války. Wikipedia
