John Barrington Wain [Vejn] byl anglický prozaik a básník, představitel generace Rozhněvaných mladých mužů.
Studoval na St. John's College v Oxfordu, kde v roce 1946 promoval. Poté se živil jako novinář - literární kritik, kromě novin přispíval ještě do rozhlasu.
