Nikita Sergejevič Chruščov

Datum narození: 3. duben 1894
Datum úmrtí: 11. září 1971
Další jména: Никита Сергеевич Хрущев

Nikita Sergejevič Chruščov byl sovětský politik a vůdce, který v letech 1953 až 1964 zastával funkci prvního tajemníka ústředního výboru Komunistické strany Sovětského svazu (ÚV KSSS) a v letech 1958 až 1964 post předsedy rady ministrů Sovětského svazu. Chruščovova vláda přinesla částečnou destalinizaci Sovětského svazu, podporu počátků sovětského kosmického programu a řadu relativně liberálních reforem v oblasti domácí politiky. Nikita Chruščov byl svými spolupracovníky odstaven od moci v roce 1964, kdy jej nahradil Leonid Brežněv.
