Paramahansa Jógánanda, bengálsky পরমহংস যোগানন্দ, rodným jménem Mukunda Lal Goš, bengálsky মুকুন্দলাল ঘোষ byl indický filozof a jogín, který se v roce 1920 usadil ve Spojených státech amerických a sehrál zásadní roli při šíření jógy do západního světa, především tzv. krijajógy. Zavedl do něj také oblíbený pojem "seberealizace", dal ho i do názvu organizace, která dodnes v Americe šíří jeho učení: Self-Realization Fellowship. Jeho kniha Životopis jogína , jež prvně vyšla roku 1946, se stala globálním bestsellerem, byla přeložena do více než 45 jazyků. Do češtiny ji přeložil Dušan Zbavitel. Silně ovlivnila například Steva Jobse. Jógánanda prý zasvěcoval do krijajógy i Mahátmá Gádhího, během své návštěvy Indie ve 30. letech. Wikipedia

The story concerns an inspired medieval saint, the cobbler Ravidas, who sang in the simple terms of his own trade of the spiritual glory hidden in all mankind:
